The Situation
Gracefully Assisted was introduced to a couple in their 80s through their home health services provider. They had something many families hope for as they age: a strong support system, with family members living nearby and actively involved in their lives.
The wife remained highly independent. She was still driving, traveling, and enjoying an active lifestyle. Her husband, however, had become increasingly weak and needed more assistance with daily activities, particularly showering and personal care.
His wife had been helping, but she was beginning to recognize her own limitations.
